Lewis & Carroll - Blok M, Jakarta (Western Cuisine)

I went to here for Christmas dinner. I know this cafe from restaurant finder application, but I know earlier if Lewis & Carroll have their own tea leaf product. So, I choose to go there because I'm curious about the tea.

For sure, I love the ambience and the unique decoration. With nude color, it's give warm atmosphere around them cafe.

For the food :

1. Linguine Fedora Blue Crab

I'm a pasta junkie. Wherever I go, I love to eat any kins of pasta. So I choose it because I see this is recommendation dish too. For the taste : the pasta al dente, the sauce full of flavours (sour, little bit sweet, not to salty), much of blue crab in every single bite (this is what I more love it), the garlic bread not to crispy but little bit soft in the middle and not to garlicy. The point is : PERFECT!


2. Mascarpone Cake

Mascarpone Cake (IDR 65.000,-)


I like this cake too, the texture is creamy-crispy because the mascaropne and the garnis. For the taste : sweet from chocolate garnish, little bit sour from the mascaropne, and salty from the cheese. Great combination!

3. Panna Cotta White Bean

Panna Cotta White Bean (IDR 42.000,-)

I just little bit disappointed with this dish. The texture just right, and the caramel sauce its good. But they didn't give something acid for fresh them (maybe some fresh fruit or fruit sauce?). I just hope they improve it, to make this dish more delicious:).

4. Blossom Hot Chocolate

Blossom Hot Chocolate (IDR 55.000,-)


I like this drink. It have actractive show from white flower made from marshmallow. The taste is sweet, rich, and have a deep flavours.

5. Snow Leopard Tea

Snow Leopard Tea

This is a combination of white tea. And I love it! Its light with soft fragrance of the tea, I suggest you to drink it after heavy meal.

6 - 8. The Tube of Tea Leaf Mix Tester










For you who confuse to choose your tea, you can ask to waitress to bring this tube to your table. Its a tester of tea leaf, so you can taste the smell of combination tea you want to drink. I choose "Petal of Peace" (flower) and my boyfriend choose "Nusantara" (spices).

Today I wanna to share my recipe which this recipe I used for my final exam in Senior High School (fyi : I'm school at culinary school), and it's delicious especially for you who love salad / vegan. It's easy to make and to prepare too..
